Overview

From September to October 2024, I collaborated with Ganga’s founder to design an interactive prototype illustrating the product vision. Powered by AI, this solution aggregates data, automatically identifies investment opportunities in the healthcare sector, and supports the tracking of these initiatives once launched.

The mission’s objective was to establish a product foundation to convince investors and industry experts.

Problem statement

Pharmaceutical companies aim to improve healthcare access across various regions. To do so, they must manage massive volumes of unstructured data scattered across different tools, hindering decision-making and initiative tracking.

Ganga positions itself as a co-pilot capable of centralizing, analyzing, and organizing this data to streamline the identification of new opportunities and project management, powered by AI.

Approach

My methodology focused on three key areas:

  1. In-depth context understanding: Analyzing pain points from a technically complex environment.
  2. Maximum simplification: Creating minimalist, organized interfaces that stakeholders could easily visualize.
  3. Rapid Iterations: Working in short cycles to align the prototype with the founder’s expectations.

Challenges

  1. Data complexity: Structuring and integrating heterogeneous information into a clear, flexible framework.
  2. Specific industry needs: Adapting the product to the complex mechanics of funding and management for user companies.
  3. Product alignment: Translating an abstract vision into a convincing prototype.

Solution

The prototype showcased Ganga’s core functionalities:

A centralized data repository allows users to upload, store, and access diverse document types, such as reports, presentations, and research papers. Ganga’s AI analyzes these documents, linking them to existing initiatives and identifying potential opportunities.

The home dashboard provides an overview of critical insights, such as top opportunities, key initiatives, and their statuses. With intuitive navigation and actionable data, users can easily prioritize tasks, track project progress, and generate detailed reports.

Each initiative is displayed with a comprehensive overview, including the number of patients impacted, cost reduction rates, and satisfaction levels. Users can monitor the initiative’s status, next actions, and key collaborators.

This feature ensures transparency and facilitates informed decision-making by consolidating qualitative and quantitative data.

An AI-powered feed curates relevant articles, reports, and updates in real-time, categorized for easy navigation. By tailoring content to specific projects and user needs, this feature keeps stakeholders informed on the latest developments in their field, fostering better strategic planning and awareness.

The communication module enables seamless exchanges between stakeholders, combining email-like functionality with initiative-specific discussions. By centralizing project-related conversations, this feature minimizes the risk of missed updates and ensures that all parties are aligned, enhancing collaboration and project outcomes.

Results and impact

I collaborated with Paul to create a clickable prototype. I struggled to visualize the tool I wanted to build, and Paul managed to bring my idea to life. I’m very happy with the result and the process. Thanks to very smooth exchanges and rapid iterations, Paul exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely work with him again after collecting market feedback.
